Stopped by one of the many cattle ranches in the area

Came across a field with some peach blossoms and canola flowers in full bloom. The farmer sat at the gate collecting entrance fees from all visitors.

Reminds me of an impressionist painting.

Happy to find this vantage point near Bakang Village (巴康村) with unparalleled views of the peach blossoms, fields, and snowy mountains.

Love the lines on the bare field ready to be planted.
Walk in the village in Bome. This little boy gave me a #1 😃

Short stop at Qingduo Temple in Qingduo Village (傾多鎮). The village is said to be the hometown of Tibetan King Nie Chi Tsangpo who was born with webbed feet and was regarded a monster and driven out of the village. This angered the gods and since then this village was cursed. Qingduo feels remote and from a high vantage point you can see the spectacular glaciers, the layers of peach blossoms, and Qingduo Temple.

So many beautiful photos. Tibet does have some of the planet’s most stunning landscapes. Thanks for sharing, and have a good day :) Aiva xx
Thanks Aiva! I finally caught up on my posts from my trip to Tibet back in April. It is an amazingly beautiful place but the high altitude, dryness, and the cold (when I was there) made it very tough.
